In 1999, a team of Adams Design Architects worked with the University of Alabama to complete an interior fit-out of two floors. These floors include artifact storage space, laboratories and offices.
This 3.5 million dollar project was executed by the team for sustainability and capability to collect, categorize and store important artifacts for the natural sciences program. The facility is still in operation today.
